Sports Injury Personal Injury Compensation Claims Advice – UK, England & Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland

Have you been injured while playing sport?

If you have been injured while playing sport in an accident that wasn’t your fault then you may be entitled to claim compensation. For example, while playing football you are owed a duty of care by the owner of the pitch and other players under the law.

Duty of Care

If this duty of care has been negligently breached resulting in personal injury to you then you may be entitled to claim compensation.

No win No Fee

Our specialist no win no fee Solicitors can advise you on sports injury claims as this can be a complex area of law and type of claim. The reason for this is simple – when you play any sport you are accepting a certain level of risk of injury so not every sports injury will result in a successful personal injury compensation claim.  For example, a fair football tackle which causes injury is unlikely to result in a successful sports injury compensation claim. However, a problem with a pitch or equipment or a football tackle using excessive force which causes injury could result in a successful sports injury compensation claim.  It is important you get expert advice from our specialist no win no fee Solicitors who can advise you on the difference between tackles and which type of tackle could result in a successful sports injury compensation claim.

  2. Photographs of the accident scene including any defective pitch;
  3. Photographs of injuries following the accident;
  4. Photographs of scarring following the accident;
  5. Details of those who witnessed the accident;

  8. Details of the referee/league/teams involved;
  9. Ensure injuries are recorded/noted by Medical Practitioners qualified to treat injuries such as Paramedics/Hospital/GP/Physiotherapist;
